Active modes can help keep workers moving

Auckland’s rail network is undergoing a series of upgrades and maintenance over the holiday period to ensure we have a network built for the future. As well as this, Stage 1 of the Rail Network Upgrade will begin on the Southern and Onehunga Lines on 16 January, until 19 March 2023. Check line closures here.

Rail replacement buses will run on the affected lines, but some people may want to turn to active modes to replace their train journeys. We can help to make active modes a great choice for your staff.

Bus vs Car – Who will win?

Mai FM puts the Northern Express to the test

Randy Sjafrie stars as the Car Commuter and Fame Teu as the Bus Bandit in a battle between two modes during rush hour. Whoever could get to work first was the winner, although the $2.70 fare and petrol savings for Fame is a win in itself.
