Tī Rākau Park playground upgrade and youth space
|
|
|
|
We will be upgrading Tī Rākau Park playground and adding a new youth space to ensure it’s a fun and enjoyable area for children and teenagers.
We would like your help to choose the equipment and facilities, and would appreciate if you could spend five minutes responding to the survey using the link below.

Work in progress in the Pakūranga area from August to December 2023Services are being installed under Pakūranga Road and through the Pakūranga Town Centre public car park with some lane adjustments while the work is done. On Pakūranga Road between William Roberts Road and Pakūranga Town Centre there will be two lanes heading towards Howick and three lanes heading towards Panmure.

- Reeves Road Flyover, with the road beneath it closing
- Tī Rākau Drive, with the road remaining open to traffic
- Tī Rākau Drive Bridge, through Burswood to the northern end of Te Koha Road

Work continues on Pakūranga Town Centre, along Tī Rākau Drive, through Burswood to the northern end of Te Koha Road

2026
|

Thousands of survey stakes are used on large infrastructure projects like the Eastern Busway. Recently, a team member suggested reusing fencing from deconstructed properties as survey stakes rather than buying new stakes.
After trialling a few workshop-made stakes, the survey team were happy with the result and a larger volume was produced and are being used on the construction site.
