Kia ora,

Welcome to the last edition of our Total Mobility newsletter for 2023!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Christmas and New Year’s closedown

As the year comes to an end, we wanted to let you know about the availability of our Total Mobility team along with some important updates:

Availability

Our Total Mobility team will be here to assist with any enquiries regarding Total Mobility clients until 21 December 2023.

We will be taking a short break and will return on 8 January 2024, ready to support new applications for the Total Mobility Scheme.

Support during the Christmas break

For any support needed while we are away, the AT Contract Centre Team can be reached at 09 366 6400.

If you have travel plans during this period, we recommend booking ahead, as services are expected to be busier.

Please join us in expressing our heartfelt thanks to all our taxi operators and assessor agencies staff. Their help and support ensure that the TM services positively impact the lives of many Aucklanders.

AT Total Mobility HOP replacement card

A quick heads up if your Total Mobility HOP card decides to play hide and seek, you can order a replacement during the Christmas and New Year break. Just give our AT Contact Centre Team a call at 09 366 6400 to place your order.

Please keep in mind that Christmas post may be slower than usual, so there may be delays in receiving your TM AT HOP card.

The last day for new assessments to be reviewed and approved is 21 December and then services will be available again from 8 January 2024.

Total Mobility and Accessibility survey

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the 2023 TM Survey!

We were delighted to see such a big response this year.

Your insights truly make a difference. We’re currently waiting for the analysis, so stay tuned for the headline results.

The prizes have been drawn, and we're delighted to share that the winners have been notified!

Wheelchair Accesible Vehicle grants

We’re dedicated to enhancing accessibility so AT is offering hoist grants to our current Total Mobility Taxi Operators. This will help with purchasing wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV) and installing wheelchair hoists or ramps.

New vehicles from Auckland Co Op, Relionus, Taxis United, R&R Mobility, Driving Miss Daisy and Freedom Companion have also recently joined the TM fleet from past grant rounds with AT support.

These new vehicles will further enhance services for our Total Mobility clients in the Auckland Region. We’re currently in the process of reviewing applications for the 2023-2034 grant round.
