New season of free guided ridesSpaces will go quickly, so be sure to book yours today!We’ve created four new guided rides especially for you, showcasing a selection of bike paths that can really take you places. Running from 6 May to 25 June, these free group rides are a great opportunity to develop your bike riding skills while having a whole heap of fun. We’ll bring a bike for you to use if you don’t have one, all you have to do is choose which ride (or rides) to join.
Don’t Panic, It’s Volcanic – Explore the excellent Puketāpapa paths linking local Mt Roskill schools and beyond.
Spring Fling – Discover some of Tāmaki Makaurau’s freshest bike paths in New Lynn, Avondale, and Western Springs.
Off the Beaten Track – Transport yourself between the growing Westgate centre, Waikumete Stream, and Tui Glen Reserve Playground.
Bike Train – Get to know Te Ara ki Uta ki Tai – the path of land and sea – that follows the Glen Innes, Meadowbank, and Ōrākei railway corridor.
All rides are approximately 2hrs long, with our professional guides there to lead the way and make sure you have a great and safe experience. Rides are suitable for confident riders who are comfortable on shared paths, cycleways and quiet roads.
